Business Crime Watch Network Forming Now
The Highland Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce it's partnership with the Highland Police Department and the City of Highland in forming a proactive business crime prevention and notification council, the Highland Business Crime Watch Network
The Highland Business Crime Watch Network (HBCWN) is a no-cost, voluntary membership council designed to enhance community security through heightened awareness and open communication between law enforcement and Highland business owners. The HBCWN was formed to help reduce crimes in Highland's commercial areas such as shoplifting, fraud, burglaries, criminal mischief, and other illicit activities. The program serves to build relationships among businesses within the City of Highland by encouraging network members to watch out for each other and maintain a safe shopping and working environment. The network also provides a forum for education and community solutions regarding criminal activity affecting our local businesses.
To become a member of the HBCWN, please contact the Highland Area Chamber of Commerce at (909) 864-4073, send them an email, or stop by the Chamber, located at 7750 Palm Avenue. Because business crime notifications will be provided to network members in successive time via e-mail, network members will be asked to provide a valid e-mail address upon registration. Your e-mail address will not be used to contact you regarding additional Highland Chamber programs or services, unless otherwise requested. Your no-cost, HBCWN membership is open to all businesses located within the City of Highland and immediate bordering areas.
